We at DALIMSS encourage students to participate in sports activities for enjoyment, relaxation and exercise. Sports are a positive aid to educational development and are imperative for the formation of a sense of self-worth in an individual. Sports also play a key role in building gamesmanship and team spirit. Every student is an ambassador of the true spirit of DALIMSS on and off the field. Students get an opportunity to experiment with a variety of sports that they wish to pursue, both to excel in or as a hobby.

Physical fitness is one of the most important elements of leading a healthy life. Physical education promotes the importance of inclusion of regular fitness activity in the routine. This helps the students to maintain their fitness, develop their muscular strength, increase their stamina and thus stretch their physical abilities to an optimum level. Sports help inculcate discipline, self-confidence, team spirit, sense of belonging, pride, achievement and self-esteem. Students also understand that victory and defeat are an ongoing process.
